Humans or Cars?

Hello, everyone! I have published up to 6 chapters of my crossover story, Road to Harmony, and for my 7th and/or 8th chapter, I need a little bit of help. I am going to put My OCs, Charlie Johnson, David Jefferson, Rachael Bailey, Sam Barrett, Bobby Brant, and Lily Mavis traveling into the magical world of Equestria with Sunset Shimmer. However, since my OCs are from the "real world," I will not be turning them into ponies in this story, so instead I want to ask you all if they should: A. remain humans, or, as a special crossover twist, B. turn them into talking cars, based on the Disney-Pixar Cars movies, since my OCs are street racers. For those who want me to turn my OCs into talking cars, and who read chapter 6, they will be turned into the alternative cars they have discovered recently, except Charlie, who will *spoiler alert* be a talking 1970 Dodge Charger. I know that putting talking cars in Equestria would be really weird to some, but that's why I am experimenting on this, to see how the audience would react to it.
