Hey gang!
Writing for Chapter 17 is drawing to a close as I begin scene 5 which is Lyra arriving in Ponyville and beginning her plan to get the big guy back. Reaching this point was a little delayed as I got into a tangent from scene 3 and 4 (one of Luna and Titus' early meetings outside his crashed ship and the story of how they stole it) and after Chapter 17.1 had a few ideas and continually find myself falling into a groove writing about the two... for things that happen shortly after this whole hostage arc.
Like, I mean a heckin' lot of writing...
So, when the hostage arc is being wrapped up expect another nearly exclusive chapter for them similar to how it was in "A Knight in Canterlot" so Twilight and Lyra will be there without being the main focus 100% of the time, but because Celestia plays a bit of a prank (inadvertently and through no fault of her own on both of them) there'll be two versions of it, if you know what I mean. 
Edit: Also, there will be some Luna art to go with it.
Well that sounds interesting
