Well all... this was quite the experience for me in writing my first story for every pony here, and I wish to say something first above all else.
Thank you.... from my heart.
I know I'm not a popular writer or blogger, but I wished to share at least something worth while to this site where I spend time day in and day out.
All the outstanding stories I had read, only fueled a small desire to add at least 'something' here hoping at least some might give a read, or a thumb up.
That's all I hoped for... and seeing some respond to my blogs or story I will be thankful for.
This now is for each of you reading this. But what was more valuable, was your time you spent in reading my story.
Time is such a valuable commodity in our lives, we hoard onto each second that we possibly could in our lives. Time that each of you took out of your busy days and lives just to read about pretty coloured ponies and one gryphon that couldn't speak.
For that alone I am grateful, and you have my heart felt thanks.
I just wish this story was worth your time.
Please send thanks to my editor, Drake Schatten, who worked on this story tirelessly and without any asking for anything in return. They turned this jumbled mess of random ideas and incohesive thoughts into something more managable.
And one lingering question... a sequel? Who knows, maybe if things turn a better turn this year when my retirement if approved and I can move south, I might peck out another semblance of loose fitting ideas that somehow form another tale.
One thing is my hearing is indeed worsening, so I may have to resort to sign language, or reading lips or something, but as my wife and daughter are supportive, I think I can go forward...

I haven’t read your story yet, and I hadn’t really planned on it, but now I might do so. I’m very busy, and I have so many stories to read, but I might find time someday to read yours. Also, I hope to write a story of my own someday, and I found this blog post very inspiring. Thanks for all you’ve done for this site!
