Two years...
For two years I have been a part of this wonderful site, and in the process have grown as a writer. It has given me new insight as to how creative I could be, and not a day goes by where I don't think of new adventures for our favorite mares and stallions to go on and new realms to explore.
But life, as always, is a double-edged sword...
I know a lot of writers on here use their writings as their primary source of income, not just as an occasional hobby, but I am in the rare percentage where the opposite is true. I have a full time job, working 46 hours a week from Monday-Saturday, and between work and having things to do around the house my writing time is severely limited.
Damaged, Penalt, and Kris Overstreet (who are three of the biggest names I follow, and two of which are really good friends of mine who I communicate with multiple times a week) have update schedules that I would like to get to at somepoint by publishing multiple chapters a month.
I recently picked up three Patreons () and seeing as how I charge by month instead of word count, I feel as if I let them down when I don't hit my deadline that I have in mind. In short, it is a terrible feeling and it sucks, but there is no other alternative. I do my best in the time I have, but even then it feels as if I don't push hard enough.
In other news, Merry Christmas 2018

Happy Hearth's Warming and Merry Christmas. And just keep doing what you feel is right for you. Remember, even Neil Armstrong had Imposter Syndrome.
