Nightmare Knights no 3.

We get the idea the writers got their memos crossed as Luna acts like seeing a horde of villains together is surprising to you as she suggests withdraw as this puts her teammates in danger.

Trixie sees a 100 bits a spin for macguffins ... Alicorn Amulet, Crystal Heart, Pearl of Transformation, Pigasus Tears, the Memory Stone, Rings Scorchero, Helm of Shadows, and Eye of Stagamoto, which Luna and Trixie think about it was supposed to be a myth.

Tempest Shadow doesn't want Trixie wasting time like this, and decides to kill birds with one stone, claiming the dealer is a fraud and blasts the wheel.

And we get Marvel movie reference with Trixie lamenting she could have been sorceress supreme most of the macguffins being fakes. (Capper pockets a miniature sun.)

And we see that while Daybreaker has a collar around her neck, she has free will and intelligence, in spite of being obedient to Eris. And she's head of security, here to sweep up villains who rock the boat too much.

And Tempest Shadow saying she's been wanting to do this since she first came to Equestria, and FIGHTS DAYBREAKER!!!

The rest leave her, using Tempest's distraction to move on.

Trixie is scared at an Evil Celestia, (guess Starlight never told her about that for some reason), and Capper says how much scarier it would if it was your sister.

Trixie says she has no sisters, and Capper says he figured Trixie was an only child. Well, that is that.

Next Capper gets cornered by some Diamond Dog, with cat vs dog prejudices shining through.

Trixie gets a news paper and swats them away, threatening to make them outdoor dogs if they don't back off.

Trixie spots a magic show, and is enraged she wasn't invited. Luna tells her to save the illusions for later. Luna says how Trixie has always had grand dreams, and they both want them to come true. Trixie is touched that Luna VALUES HER as part of the team! Capper confirms this.

In a castle dungeon like room set up like an interrogation room, Tempest Shadow is strapped in, saying she's ready to go another round if she feels like it.

Instead, Eris and Daybreaker shows up... managing to overhear Tempest's monologue about playing her part (OOPS!).

Eris tries to get information from Tempest but Tempest won't play ball. Eris figures someone is after the staff.

Tempest tells Eris,
"I would know anything about that, but I've got a joke you might like."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you're in it. Why did the chicken cross-"

"You know, I've heard this one before, but the real question I know to is-"
*she bring the staff to bear in Shadow Tempest's face* "-Why did the pony cross the chicken?"

Then suddenly Tempest finds herself as a filly, with her scar and broken horn. She sees Luna, Trixie (foal her age), and Capper (kitten) playing with a ball of string, foal Stygian reading lots of books.

Trixie and Luna want to play ball with her... and Tempest Shadow has no choice but to act out her part against her will... she misses the ball, she follows it into the cave... and a giant Eris is waoting for her instead of the Ursa Minor!!! (What was that about there being no real monsters Tempest?)

And we see in the real world, Tempest with green swirl eyes saying, "Luna, no! I failed you!" Revealing what's going to Eris.

Eris explains to Daybreaker Tempest is having a nightmare. Eris wonders if maybe she'll hold onto the staff herself after all. And... SHE LEAVES TEMPEST LIKE THAT!

If there was any doubt Eris came from the same messed up family as Discord, there is none now. She's might be a worst sadist than he is!

She leaves Daybreaker there in case Tempest slips anything else useful, while Tempest is left living her worst nightmares in her mind... Again, does that give Eris enough villain credit you to stop temper tampering about Geno/Waluigi not being playable, I mean Pony of Shadows not being the main villain?

The heroes find the stairs to Eris' throne room completely wall to wall with guards that they can't squeeze past. Trixie's illusions won't let them just sneak past. They need another distraction.

And Trixie has a hissy fit and forgets where she is (and drop her disguise persona), when she sees a banner for the Great and Powerful Twily, "this dimension's greatest illusionist".

"She's defeated me, humiliated me, and tricked me! But even for her this is too far!"

Luna tries to remind her that this isn't their Twilight, but Trixie isn't listening.

Trixie spots Twilight in a blue hat and cape, performing the 'saw in half Trixie' on (presumably) her world's Spike.

Twily, "Princess Trixie?!"

So in this world, Twilight is the stage magician and Trixie is the Alicorn princess?

Makes you wonder if she's working for Eris if just because she's not stupid enough to challenge the wishes of a Draconequus.

Both accuse the other of stealing their lines and their shtick.

Trixie challenges her to a battle of illusions, and Twily eagerly accepts.

This epic performance gets the guards' attention and even Capper wants to stay and watch the show.

The stairs split, Luna goes one way, and the others the other way. Luna says Capper will need Stygian's magic more than a powerless unicorn.

The pair get the right stairs, and find Eris' empty throne room, only for Eris to enter from behind, call it "her trap" and holding the staff and orb says "Now watch the birdie!"

And the preview of the next comic cover... has Daybeaker... WITHOUT HER COLLAR!

IMHO? Get ready to find out how the World of Ash timeline came about!

Twily, "Princess Trixie?!"

Indeed, this is actually the Twilight from the Mirrorverse in the Reflections Arc, where we actually see that their roles were reversed in this universe:

A nice little bit of continuity!

You think she's one of the ORIGINAL comic mean six? She doesn't seem to have the same personality. And it said 'this dimension's' greatest illusionist, meaning she's the Twilight from Eris' reality.

4980634
Not exactly, pretty much everyone here is from a different dimension of some sort. She directly addresses Trixie as Princess, and the Mirrorverse is the only known one where Trixie is a Princess.

Not to mention the fact that we barely see evil Twilight for more than one page, so it's possible this is the same one, just putting on a stage personality.

Eris did say this was her world, and she was her world's spirit of chaos.

4980796
Her world, yes.

But pretty much everyone else is from an alternate version of Equestria. As shown with the various versions of certain Villains what characters that were formed by this point.
