Obsessed With Stuff... · 6:13am Dec 1st, 2018
Mostly Darksiders (as the new game just came out, and I loved the first two), and some weird-ass fanfiction crossover ideas, including MLP fics, game fics, and others. Even contemplating on making a story-based drawblog. Problem is, I’m a lazy bastard...
Anyway, aside from that, I’m still working on a bunch of stories and chapters I do hope to get out before mid-December, so be on the look out for that.
And trying to get my friend back into writing every now and then. Hopefully he’ll buckle down and progress with his project.
So, yeah, got some obsessions I hope to actually act on and be productive. If not... well, shit.
Oh, random question to those that still read these (all of... maybe 2 of you, maybe 1?) If you know of Darksiders, who’s your favorite Horseman out of the four?
Death is by far my fave right now. But maybe Fury will take his place as i play
I have only played the first Darksiders and a little of the second. So for now it's War.

War’s certainly a good character. I know alot of people like to compare Darksiders 1 to God of War (the original series, at least), but if there is one thing that is absolutely not shared between the games, its the personality (and with it, the attitude). War, under the violence and growling, is probably the most honor bound and dutiful characters I’ve seen in fantasy style games. Even better in that, while his quest on the surface is for “revenge” at a first glance, he never shows, expresses, or even says it’s for his sake. Instead, every time it’s brought up, it’s purely to bring justice to the guilty parties; hunting down the conspirators that caused this mess in the first place and bring some semblance of order back to the world, or die trying.
Although, I do recommend you play more Darksiders 2 (maybe even read the novels that take place before the games too) and experience Death’s personality more. Despite being rather morose and grim, as his name would imply, and despite how cold his job requires him to be, he does tend to see things in a more reasonable light, and actually manages to have a sense of humor even at the worst of times... unless it involves the fate of his kin (War in particular). Above all else, too, is that he is able to have enough of a heart to offer a kind word or gesture every now and again and obviously cares quite a bit for his brothers and sister, even though he doesn’t like expressing it conventionally.
