    Another Rising Flames Progress Update

It'll probably be another two weeks before chapter four is ready, give or take. It's needed far more editing than any chapter so far, and also more than any chapter to follow, most likely. Actually, this single chapter has probably undergone more revisions than any other piece of fiction I've ever worked on. I went overboard on the original version due to my desire for drama, which led to drama

    Rising Flames Progress Update

Just letting everybody know, it's going to be a bit longer before Chapter Three drops. In addition to refining our editing process to be more collaborative (I was letting my mindset from my game development work bleed into here, when my priorities with Rising Flames are very different), Spell Check and applezombi pointed out a bunch of issues with my outline that I've been diligently

A bit late, but I just saw Wreck-It Ralph 2. · 10:34pm Nov 27th, 2018

I loved it, totally hit all the bases for me. Funny, cute, some good action scenes, heartwarming moments, etc. Couldn’t realistically ask for more. For a couple of takeaways most of you will find relevant, check after the break.

While the first film’s moral was about accepting yourself, this one’s patented Disney message was that true friends won’t just abandon you, even if they physically leave for someplace far away to chase their dreams. This is something MLP hasn’t touched on yet, with Uncommon Bond only covering the interest drift aspect. As season nine is rumored to be the last hurrah before G5, I feel this would be a great, thematically appropriate way to end the series. As an example, let’s say the Student Six finish up their classes, and all have to go their separate ways, but Gallus doesn’t want them all to split up, fearing he’ll lose them, only to learn that friendships can last forever by transcending distance. I’m curious, would you be okay with a more low-stakes series finale like that?

On a less serious note, I lied, I will ask for more of the movie. See, the plot involves people going to the internet, right? And Sonic is a character, with dialogue no less. So, would it be too much to ask for a background easter egg where Sonic returns to the Arcade from the Wifi router with a traumatized look on his face? Come on, Disney, this joke practically wrote itself here!
