A Poll for the Future. · 6:38pm Nov 27th, 2018
Sorry for the silence this past little while. I've been very busy IRL and I needed to get a new computer too (my previous one was an 8 and a half year-old Lenovo G550 whose hard disk started to fail) which meant a whole lot transferring and stuff. Writing wise, things have been going well. I wish I could say the same for editing. I had thought I found someone to help me edit back in July, but after a couple of weeks/sessions they had 'family issues' to take care of. Naturally, I let them have their space. Then, I noticed they were back on the site in October and asked how they were doing and if we could continue. They've been silent ever since.
Hence, this poll I would like to pose to you, in regard to how I post my stories for the foreseeable future.
Would you rather I:
1) - Post only after a 3rd party has had a look through the chapter.
"I only want the best you can do!"
2) - Post the self-edited stage of the chapter, then make a blog post later on when it has been passed through a 3rd party editor.
"Sooner rather than later; polish can wait."
3) - Post the self-edited stage with no expectation or need for a 3rd party to edit the chapter at any point in time.
"Just give me more pony words!!!"
Here is the link to the Straw Poll
I will tally the results some time on December 1st, 2018 (Saturday) and post accordingly from there. Thank you for your time and patience everyone!

Ciroton lives? What madness is this?
Seriously though, your work is what got me into the world of MLP fiction, and has inspired me a lot in my own non-pony writings. Personally, I think getting your work out there and then allowing for polish to come after would be a great middle ground; the fans who don't mind get their horse words sooner, and the fans who do can wait for the blog post.
Either way, keep up the fantastic work, and I look forward to reading more of it soon!
What sort of edits would your 3rd party editor do? Just proofreading stuff, or would it be more extensive?

Catching mistakes in grammar and spelling, proofreading, and possibly making suggestions for dialogue or prose and content, but the latter part was mostly what my old editor would help me with the most.
Sorry for the late reply.
I'm happy you are still active ciro.
About the pony chapters just do the best you can possible. *hugs*
