What browser do you use? This isn't a laptop vs. desktop thing. I've got the same userscripts running on my Microsoft Surface, which is halfway between a laptop and a tablet.

This script requires either Violentmonkey for Firefox* or Tampermonkey for Chrome, Opera, Safari or Edge.

If you don't have Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey installed, then it downloads a .js file instead of installing the userscript.

Tampermonkey isn't available on mobile, sadly. It's only for Windows/Mac/Linux systems. Chrome on mobile devices doesn't support any plugins or extensions.
