Hello Everyone, Frost here. I wanted to get to one of these sooner, but given the fact that my home is going under a complete remodel right now, I’m working a temporary job three days a week and I’m trying my best to not drown under the workload of my online classes; I’m not exactly at my main computer right now and instead have to write this blog from my laptop.
First thing I want to address though is that earlier this week, I reached a goal that I honestly did not think I would reach when I first started writing stories on here. That being reaching 500 followers. Thank you to everyone who has supported both myself and the stories that I write and as a treat, I want to tell you about two new projects that I have been working on for a while, but I wanted to wait until the time was right to reveal them to you guys.
The first project that I have is kind of one that I have been working on the longest. Surely, a lot of you are familiar with two of my early stories from when I first started writing. The first being Swords, Sorcery and Shenanigans while the second one was Of Magic and Machines. Today though, I want to tell you about the third story that comes long after the second book in what I call the Nocte Trilogy. It’s called Edge of Eternity, and unlike that of the previous two stories, where it focused a lot on Nicko and his niece, this one solely focuses on his three children. Who were left in the care of Sunset and Eventide in his EQG in the epilogue for Of Magic and Machines when they were young. This one focuses more on them once they’re grown up and also demonstrates something else I’ve been planning with other displaced authors over the course of... well, close to two years I think. Maybe more.
That would be something called Beacon Academy. If you recall, in my Story Monkey Business, Sun and a few of the characters in his world wanted to build a school for displaced in order to help teach them how to understand their predicament and gain control of their powers. In Edge of Eternity, Beacon’s no longer in the ‘planning’ or building stages, but is fully operational. And since several of the characters in this story are students attending beacon... let’s just say that it plays a VERY big role in it.
Now, the second project that I have in the works is something... a bit different. You might recall a while back that I had finished a PWNY-verse story a while ago called Rogue Chaos, where the Rogues faction from the game Battleborn were raising a young Discord. Well, I would like to say that once again, I am working on another PWNY-verse idea with MrAquino and... the idea behind this one is actually MUCH different. And by the sheer scope of what we’re doing, there’s a lot of possibilities as to what we can do.
After all... where we’re going is a place where the limits of reality are your own imagination.
Now then... for things that I am working on currently, I am slowly working on a couple of different updates. Mainly, for both When Lightning Strikes, Beyond the Skies and Destiny- Shimmering Sun. For now though, I’m needing a break from all the writing and have the rest my hands a little. I hope you guys stick around because I really want to get some of this stuff out soon. Especially since the update for Beyond the Skies is themed after Nightmare Night.
