I am now officially over a quarter century old. Just a hair over, but over nonetheless. If you had to round to the nearest ten it would have to be 30 instead of 20.
What the hell?! Getting old sucks. Before you know it I'll have a career and a mortgage and some other stuff only old people and highly ambitions teenagers get.
I need a drink. After class, of course.

My point exactly! You have a kiddo to worry about and who knows what else. I can't handle that kind of stress. I can barely take care of myself let alone a tiny person. I know, I tried once.
Beer will make it all better :D

You know, I believe there was a study done once about people's names. Job applicants with odd, not necessarily foreign, just odd, names had an overwhelming tendency to be overlooked or dismissed in favor of people with more "normal" names. Having worked in a school for as long as I did I can say with authority that there are some strange names floating around. I think people are just playing Boggle and picking whatever looks good.
Also, Nathaniel and Alexander both have 9 letters. I'm a sucker for that kind of symmetry. My full legal name has seven letters in each piece.
And, yea. Molding myself into a respectable member of society is still kind of a work in progress. I'm not ready for an apprentice.
Sometimes I wonder if my life would have been different if I'd been my real name all along instead of my nick name. My real name is so strong and authoritative, what with the symmetry and all. My nickname, which I've gone by since I was old enough to crawl, is kinda scrawny. vs I suppose.
