Sorry I've been slacking so hard with everything. Totally exhausted the last few weeks thanks to work and a slacker deciding to quit without telling us because 'boohoo, I've been through some personal problems recently and couldn't come in'. I'VE had personal problems before owning my store and you know what I did? I went to work. It got my mind off my problems and focused on other things. Plus, since he had some car issues, well, how are you supposed to pay for the fixes if you're not going to work? He's living with a friend and the friend's girlfriend since his ex kicked him out a few weeks ago...why not just ask one of them to drive you, or go get an Uber for a few bucks and come to work and make more money than you would spending a few bucks on Uber twice a day?
Me, my mom (co-owner), her husband and the schmuck went to dinner Thursday or Friday. He apologized and 'explained' things by saying a whole lot of nothing for a half hour. He misunderstands me when I ask him if there was one particular thing that was essentially the last straw and was accused of not listening even though I listen with my ears and not my eyes. I tend to do that whole 'squinting and staring at nothing' when I'm being talked to about stuff, just the way I am. But yeah, I'll be there at 9am, oops, no call, no show, etc. Well, fuck off. We had an ad on our facebook page and a sign in the door for about a week and have gotten some hits, so we'll see what happens then. Since he started this bullshit though, it's been on and off busy, but it was especially so today. Was gonna come home and bust out some things here tonight, but fell asleep on the couch for an hour and a half while my back stopped screaming at me.
So, again, apologies if people are waiting for something. I do want to finish Sweat 3 and put out its side story and toss out some critiques of recent episodes. I do want to leave the finale for its own entry. Hope you're doing better than I am lately. Till next time.
