The Predator · 5:47am Sep 22nd, 2018

Finally, I was able to catch up on seeing this movie. While I don't have as much memory with the Predator series as I do, say, Jurassic Park, I have seen just about all the movies including the AVP spinoff.

And what can I say about this one? This one, I can tell, is the most comedy routed of the franchise. It largely relies on the nostalgia of the past films sans AVP, and overall seems more similar to an Asylum film. Doesn't make it any less excusable when you have Keegan Michael Key in the film.

There's still plenty of gore, but it seems so lighthearted for even an R rated feature. Nowhere near as gritty as the first two movies. And while the clicking is still heard, the aliens don't do their feral screams.

And yet... It seems to at least have the honor of being the first Predator film I've seen in theaters. And if you want to get a good laugh, be my guest.

As of this time, happy former Sunset Shimmer Day.

I saw that movie in theaters, and it was like the silliest Predator movie I've ever saw, but not as bad as Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.
