So yeah... I wrote things, and people actually listened. Feels weird. Anyway, if you haven't read this blogpost, then I suggest you do. Myself, and several others, are pooling our collective fic-reading power to find the hidden gems buried in the mire of FiMfic and providing our thoughts on them.
