    Everfree Northwest 2022

So, if anyone is interested, I'm currently doing Everfree Northwest!

The neat thing is being able to go to a con that's next door is that I can easily rest at home and be fresh in the morning. If you are at Everfree, then I hope to see you there.

Missing, No? · 4:19am Sep 10th, 2018

If you noticed that the two fanfics I had on here are gone, it is because I have revoked their submissions. Not to fret, I will republish them eventually, maybe, sometime soon, in the near future, whenever I can...
The truth of the matter is that they were not worked on as rigorously and frequently as I hope for. When I join this fandom, I had every intention to write fanfiction for this incredible group. And I intend to keep at it still. But it felt to me that the stories I was writing on were not really something I could be proud of or keep working at. I want to have something fresh and exciting as I was back in 2015 for ponies. So I came to a conclusion. I need a fresh start. A blank page so that I could feel like I am attempting to start something new. So, here is how I am going to proceed from now on.

  1. Step One: Take the stories I have written and unpublish them (Already done)
  2. Step Two: Work on shorter fanfictions and one shots
-The problem is that any idea I have for a novel would have spun out of control into a work that would be nearly impossible for me to complete. I realize this and set off to shorten my writing and keep my outlined scenes from being more than one page.
  3. Step Three: Gain some traction
-Once I have gotten to a good steady pace and some work published, then I could begin working on my longer works.
  4. Step Four: Find some editors.
-I realize my life is hectic with school and work. Part of the reason I wasn't able to write much this year. I also recognized that my writing needs a second eye. So once I got something that I am passionate about, then I will do my best to hopefully get it worked on by some editors
  5. Step Five: Re-edit and Re-work the stories I had on here
-Let be frank. The two (three, actually) stories that were on here (Tribulations by Earth and Formation by Words) were not the stories I attended to write first. They were the result of clustertruck of fiction that were jumping off of one idea I had for a story. They quickly evolved into a large behemoth of a story series that I wanted to write. Whether the full amount of the series will be written or not, remains to be seen. But if I am to work on those stories, I have to do an entire rehaul of them both. I might even delete one of them and start over.
  6. Step Six: FINISH A FANFIC.
-I think one of my main issues is that I'm too afraid of how the audience would judge my work when they read them. I know I'm not perfect. Not all my work will be reaching the mark of excellence. But writing is my passion. My soul song. I always wanted to create a novel, a world of words that tell a fantastic story. And this fandom did something to make it seem a possibility. It was one thing to suffer writer's block and not think of anything fresh or new to push you to write something. It was another thing, another beast altogether, to go through a writer's sphere and be overwhelmed by the fresh ideas that this show had brought upon my brain. But if I don't finish one idea I got from this show, then I wouldn't be much of a writer. So I swear that one day I WILL have a complete fanfic.

TL;DR: I took the fanfics off my page to be reworked so that they MIGHT be republished. New stuff will come first though.
