    Everfree Northwest 2022

So, if anyone is interested, I'm currently doing Everfree Northwest!

The neat thing is being able to go to a con that's next door is that I can easily rest at home and be fresh in the morning. If you are at Everfree, then I hope to see you there.

Getting Back On Track · 11:30pm Feb 27th, 2021

Hello, everyone.

It...
Wow, it is near the end of February?

That can't be right.

There must be a mistake with time. It is moving way too fast!

Well, I guess it is time for an explanation. I have to apologize. I never meant to have a schedule slip like this. I was working on getting back in my writing groove at the beginning of the year but things started spiraling out of control for me as a couple of factors had kicked into my life.

The first factor being, as my previous blog indicated, Covid-19. It had gotten the virus at the beginning of December. And being a relatively healthy person, I was under the assumption that I would able to recover quickly from it. That wasn't completely the case. It still took me about a month and a half for me to fully recover. I shuttered to think what it is like for those who have underlining health conditions. So please wear your mask, get vaccinated, and practice social distancing. I hope we can get this virus down to safe levels within this year and return to normalcy eventually.

The second factor is that it is winter and gets easily demotivated because of the cold weather and longer nights. I can't help but be a summertime person and the winters of the Midwestern United States are just tough. I'm constantly tired, unfocus, and groggy during the winter and thus I can't force myself to write. I hope to rectify this by moving to around Arizona/New Mexico towards the end of this year. I NEED to be out of this area because winter is becoming very unbearable for me. At least away from the snow and ice.

However, the third factor is the main source of the lack of updates and what has been kicking my ass for the past few months. That is my daytime job. I am working at an unpleasant factory job that is quickly burning through people faster than a lit match to a piece of paper. Because of this and the high demand for the product, I am working roughly 50ish hours each week, Monday to Saturday with Sunday being my only day off. This along with it being winter cut down the times I can write down by a lot. I usually write when I get off work. But by the time I get home now, I have to make dinner and then head to bed in order to get up at 4 am. The first shift has always been tricky for me. As closer as it gets back to warmer weather, the later I'll be staying up. Which will bite me in the ass if I have work in the morning. I have no qualms about leaving this place. It was always going to be a temporary job for me. Eventually, I'll be getting a second shift job and have the perfect schedule for my writing.

All in all, this is the lot I have to deal with now.

I once again apologized for the lack of updates. I wish I can devote myself to writing as much as I did when I first join the herd. But things are looking up. With G5 on the horizon, I hope that I can be able to join the thousands of others who are participating in this new generation of ponydom. Along with that and my few ideas I want to write, I ain't going anywhere. So, I won't promise anything but I hope in March I will give a few more updates and a couple more stories.

So be safe and positive. I hope your days are happy and your imagination is soaring.

Until next time
