Sometimes. · 4:41am Aug 11th, 2018
We live on the border of a moderate-sized town. Most days I walk away from the town, out into nature. But sometimes I walk into the town, through the streets and the parks. I look around me at the sidewalks and into the restaurants. I watch the cars go by. And I see the people everywhere, walking, talking, laughing, texting, eating, jogging, living. Sometimes I look at their faces and wonder about them. What are their names? Who are they? How old are they? What have they seen and done? What do they wish to see and do? What are their dreams and hopes? What are they thinking right now? Are they wondering the same things about me? Some of them look happy, some look sad. Some look kind and others mean. Some look interesting, and many boring.
And sometimes I'm overwhelmed at just how much I love every single one of these stupid, stupid creatures.
Sorry if this is weird. But it reminded me of when I read about babies and that they stare at everything, especially people, because they’re so curious.

I'm quite complimented actually. We could all be a bit more childlike, I think.

The most innocent minds are the ones of children.

Not just innocent, but curious. Scientific. Sadly society beats it out of them - live by the rules. Follow your religion, make money, have more children to repeat the process.

It’s the schooling system mainly. It might have been suitable during the industrial revolution. But not anymore. And they think that banning phones will make it bette.r

Banning phones would make it worse. Phones and the internet are children's ways of finding out about the world outside the structure of school and the dogma of their parents, and coming to their own conclusions.

Well plus more children are being raised with only one parent. So more people have trouble understanding thhe practice of comprimise.
