A Blog Post of Things I Need to Say · 12:08am Oct 31st, 2012
Dear sweet mother of duck! I've been a horrible updater! I start up fics with potential for unending brilliance, only to slack off with their progress! I even promised many other fics of brilliance soon to come, but haven't even started on them yet!
But I do have good excus- er, I mean reasons, even if they are the constantly re-used ones every other author makes.
The one reason that speaks the most is real life. I hate it. Too mundane and boring. But since everything else is impossible (within our limits), I have to deal with it. So you have to deal with it. I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not feeling too nice right now.
This being said, I encourage you all to send me happy and positive thoughts so I can devour them and gain power, thus allowing me to write somehow.
Now, what else was there- OH YEAH!
I have three new ideas for stories.
1. A Celestial Comedy, or Dante's Equestria (You pick, I don't care)
Yes, it is what you're thinking, yet it's not. Does anyone remember "Cutie Mark Crusader Crusaders, yay!"? Well, what if Dante (I'm following the Visceral Games' Dante, sorry historical poet lovers) was a Celestial Follower? And instead of traveling to Hell, went to Equestria, then Tartarus (under new chaotic management) to save Beatrice? Would he overreact to the presence of the "Three Prophets?" What about meeting his "Goddess?" Would his beliefs be crushed after seeing the truths behind his religion? Oh, the possibilities!
2. Mid-Life Crisis and Beyond (working title)
This brony had spent a wonderful life in Equestria. He's done everything a brony could want to do, he's been recognized as a hero in some ways, and he's married to Twilight. 30 years later, he's living with Twilight in Canterlot, has three foals, and is feeling "too old". Join your typical H.i.E. as we take a look into his life in his later years.
3. Am I the Only One Not in Equestria?!
Yes, it's a self-insert. Except I'm not in Ponyland. Instead, humans have begun disappearing around me and I'm confused to hell. Meanwhile, people I know are getting their stories told as they learn to survive/live in their own respective Equestrias.
So, feedback?
I understand your pain. Trust me, I have three fics that are not finished and another one being worked one. Let's be slackers together!
Oh! I know! There should be a group for slacking authors in which we remind ourselves not to be lazy! Unless we get lazy about reminding ourselves that... It gets tricky around that part dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/shrug_Luna_apple.png
