    Supermassive 2023 Art Dump

So! Back. Not dead. Big surprise. Life's been kinda hectic for awhile now for a variety of reasons I won't go too much into, but I've had a nice long break and am feeling ready to get back to a semi-regular writing schedule! However, I have still been doing art for the past,,, six months, has it really been that long? Jeez. So, here's a big ol' pile of stuff that I haven't shared here, by month.

Wooden Overcoats · 2:40am Aug 1st, 2018

Now look here. I am going to tell you all about my very favorite comedy podcast, whether you like it or not. It's called Wooden Overcoats, and it's about undertakers. The storyline is fairly simple.

Rudyard Funn runs a funeral home in the village of Piffling Vale. It used to be the only one. It isn't anymore.

Ever since fancy new funeral director Eric Chapman moved to Piffling, Rudyard and his sister, Antigone, can't seem to catch a break! Chapman, with his strange habits of actually talking to people and being friendly, his seemingly endless talents, and his ludicrously indulgent funeral parlor, gets all the glory, and the Funns, under Rudyard's policy of "we get the body in the coffin in the ground on time, and everything else is just window dressing", get nothing. But they won't go down without a fight. Accompanied by their sole employee, Georgie, and Rudyard's best and only friend Madeline (a mouse), Funn Funerals intend to ensure that Chapman will stop putting the Fun in Funerals once and for all!

Aside from the plot, all the characters are just delightful, such as the perpetually perplexed Mayor Desmond Desmond, the agnostic Rev. Nigel Wavering, the terrifying Ringmistress Marlena Magdelena, and constable-turned-confectioner Agatha Doyle. Also, remember Madeline? The mouse? She's also the narrator. It's kind of adorable, actually. Go to your favorite podcast app, search for Wooden Overcoats, and enjoy yourself.
