Sooo...
I've exceeded <Current Year> number of encounters (2115 st to be precise) and still no shiny...
I looked it up, and you can find Venipede at a later location. One which have dark grass in it, which has a chance of giving you two pokemon encounters at the same time. So I've made the executive decision to put the shinyhunt on hold for awhile and continue with the game.
My Woobat evolved into Swoobat and it now looks twice as dumb. It's pulling its weight really good, but I think I'll drop him soon as I have my Venipede.
Beat the third gym. No problems this time.
May not have mentioned it, but I have a rule where I have to trek through a gym all the way once I've begun. No stopping to heal at a pokecenter, which is probably why I've had trouble before. This gym was pretty easy to be honest. I only lost one poke before the leader and it was NAHASH who wouldn't have been able to do much anyway.
MWP was definately AMETHYST who pulled off a great Assist play where she copied Air Cutter from Swoobat and knocked down the leaders last pokemon to the point were a simple Thief attack could bring it down!
Besides that it's been business as usuall. Team Plasma stole Bianca's Munna (they seem quite obsessed with Munnas. Maybe next time they'll go for mine!) but I got it back.
Had two rival battles in a row, which was alittle scary. But I won both.
Got a bunch of new TMs but none that I like to use, except Dig. (I love that move! Shame only Herdier could learn it.)
No new pokemon for me. The sand crocodile looks cool, but I think I'll save it for my White 2 playthrough.
And I got the Eviolite from an NPC which boosts Defense and Special Defense of the pokemon holding it, if it can evolve. Prefect for CAROL, amiright!?
