Fresh Start

So after I failed somewhat hardcore in my first story, Then the Storm Blows Cold, I was discouraged for a while. I didn't have the will to write or the creativity to finish what I'd already started.

Then I got another story idea that was perfect for a little, one-chapter story. That became Sidetracked. I'm planning to continue writing some fun one-offs in order to actually practice and get better before I go tackle my larger project again.

The biggest problem I've had is actually getting good help. Most of the help I seem to find before publishing has been either, "Oh, yeah, it's good," or, "Yeah, I'll get to it." That makes it a little difficult to actually make my story of decent quality, especially since I'm rather new on the writing scene.
