The story is not cancelled.
It is, however, on Hiatus.
To put this in quick and simple words, working on this story while I am also kinda living it seems a bit 'on the nose'. After all, I don't want to come off like I'm projecting myself onto Dee.
Unlike the Alchemist and the Mirror, I haven't given up on it. That said, the release date for the final chapter is tentatively set to Eventually™.

Curious how much of this story you're living? Just the "being transgender" part, or more?

I'm in the sort of IT strain that would have me working system or network admin type jobs. College calls it IT: Systems and Security.

Isn't it called like SecOps or something in the industry? Some of my friends would know since they work IT.
Believe it or not, I miss college, probably because I haven't had steady employment since grad school. I miss the science and math. Last degree I completed was a M.S. in Meteorology. I also have a bachelors in Physics and Astronomy.
I'm also genderfluid, but my college days were spent fearing my very large feminine side, so I can't relate to Dee in your story in that way, but I relate to many serious transgender stories on this site.
