Pretty Dynamo Preview

The release of my novel, Jake and the Dynamo, has been delayed because of some issues beyond everyone's control, but I did recently get this preview of Pretty Dynamo's new character design for the cover art.

I'm digging the '80s anime hair. And I like the way he integrated the lightning bolt motif across her whole outfit, particularly in the way he made her insignia part of her breastplate but also made it look like a locket. I told the artist to think of Dynamo as sort of like a cross between Mega Man and a hoplite in a tutu, and he apparently took me at my word.
