Chapters are usually edited less than a day before they are posted. If you wish to edit a chapter, you can ask here, on SB, or on SV when the previous chapter has been posted. He usually leaves a beta-request post on the SB thread when he is ready.

The current story is soon going to end, seeing as it has already surpassed 50 chapters. The next story might be a continuation of "Not Quite SHODAN", "Hell is Other Angels", or some new story.

That one is possible as the next story, but at this point it looks unlikely, sorry. I am about halt to two thirds through writing it, but I'm having a massive writers block on it. I know where it's going, but actually getting it down on paper(so to speak) turns out to be difficult.
