You're the first person I know who is switching to Windows 8.
How do they even design themes for that? Does it affect the metro style?

It probably wouldn't be too hard to switch the theme from Windows 7 to Windows 8, because of the same desktop style (apart from metro).
People aren't looking past the metro style and figuring out that there's still a desktop; the metro thing is mostly just a home screen.

And yes, under metro is typical windows7 Desktop, although after some cosmetical changes. And windows are still metro-like, and it does not look bad at all. Lack of Start Menu still hurts, though. I have to use Metro as a launcher for Desktop...

Also, it is possible to work just in metro, not accessing desktop...

Also, I have yet to test installing it with multiple OS'es on pc, not sure, but apparently 8 is disabling installation of other systems....

Yeah, I read that in order for PC manufacturers to ship their stuff out, they have to comply to certain rules and make it so that you can only install Windows 8 and nothing else.
