Bethesda Studios have announced their new game - Fallout 76! · 6:17pm May 30th, 2018
As the name suggests, the game takes place in Vault 76 in the year 2102. Vault 76, unlike other Vaults, is a controlled Vault, meaning that no experiments will take place. As according to the Vault Archives in Fallout 3's Citadel where The Brotherhood of Steel is situated in Washington D.C., Vault 76's door was forced to open as an intentional plan to allow the vault dwellers outside into The Wasteland to reclaim it and begin rebuilding civilization. This was known as Reclamation Day.
As far as we know, the current speculation on the game is told to be some kind of online RPG type game, but that hasn't been fully verified! As a fellow Fallout fan, I want to see where this one goes!
There is also meant to be a showcase event with E3 on June 10th that will go into detail on this new game that has apparently been in development almost straight after or before the release of Fallout 4!
Awesome
All my Fallout knowledge comes from Fallout:Equestria.
Pipbucks, Stable-Tec, Stable experiments, etc...
I've never played the game, as I know I will get hooked.
I thought Vault 76 was Vault 75 in Fallout 4
An unfucked vault-tec vault?
Made by Vault-tec? No... There HAS to be something wrong with it... The water chips probably doomed to fail. The air filter's probably gone. There are probably poisonous rattlesnake coyote hybrids in the floors... Something has to be wrong with it!

Nah. It actually takes place in 2102, which is YEARS before any of the events of the previous games that have been released in the franchise. That automatically makes it a prequel to the entire Fallout Series! The Pip-Boys are even old-school. They have been designed to look like the first edition Pip-Boys that leave the components exposed and visible! They look really beautiful while keep it all lore-friendly! It looks like a promising game, but I'm still a little nervous how it'll play out if it is actually an online game. It'll ruin what Fallout has become. It has never been marketed as an online or co-op type of game. It's always been a single-player RP shooter that takes place in a massive area during the post-apocalypse.
I think Vault 76's door was programmed to open exactly 25 years after the bombs dropped, so there's going to quite a lot of commotion on the surface, I would assume. I really want to see what it's going to be like! Haven't played a game in over two years and I want to experience that apocalyptic goodness again!

Ah, there it is. The door opens 25 years later. I KNEW vault tec did something. I guess we're going to be enjoying some fresh radiation. lol. Ya, I'm a long time Fallout fan, I played through Fallout 3 about 5-6 times, and Fallout New Vegas a couple times. I really hope they bring in some setting building music. Like how The capital had the ink spots, New Vegas had some Dean Martin music (About luck). Fallout 4 was sorta a disappointment for me. But I hope they bring back the old Fallout vibe in this new one.
