Should I break your heart with my story? · 10:18pm May 19th, 2018
As a writer of "The Lives Among The Equines" I want to know your opinions on whether or not I should a new story a Tragedy. So here's the deal, you can choose which of these two options, should I:
1) Utterly ripping the reader's heart to shreds, then throwing the pieces to the wind
2) Breaking their hearts, only to heal it back with an uplifting ending
I'm not sure which one you I should do the reader, it's supposed to be dark, but I don't want it to be too dark but I don't want it to be too lighthearted. What should I do?
