shhhhhhhhhhhh just breaking the site again don't mind me

very, very, very experimental fic continues its slow progress as the deadline for bicyclette's sci-fi contest draws near. these chapters are about on-par with what if in terms of length, but oh boy have they been an interesting experience to write.

hey hey btw i've got a (couple of) public minecraft server(s)!

yeah so anyway here is my webbed site lol. there's an MC Classic server for building whatever, and an MC Beta 1.7.3 server for playing survival. I might eventually also put up a modern vanilla server as well, though given how I'm hosting a bunch of servers already for friends and a couple of discord servers, idk if the little slab of a PC I'm using to host 'em all would be able to manage lol.

summer break is almost here :V

basically got one week left lol. got an experimental fic in the works that's a sort-of direct sequel picking off right where Splintershard ended. no prior reading is necessary.

MAN it's been a while since I've toyed with writing styles.

How 'bout a run-down of cartoons I watched when I was little? · 11:40pm May 16th, 2018

Not counting obvious ones like Sesame Street or a couple other shows on PBS, here's a compilation of what liked to watch throughout the years, almost entirely on the Qubo channel. Keep in mind that none of these shows are on the channel anymore, much to my disappointment when I installed a TV tuner card in my PC. And honestly, the shows on that channel these days are more weird than enjoyable nowadays. Though compared to before, there are a lot less re-aired shows. After a bit of researching, it turns out that many of the shows I liked were canceled re-runs from long before Qubo began airing them.

These aren't listed in really any particular order outside of what immediately came to mind first.

If this thing had more than two seasons and continued having new episodes, chances are that you wouldn't be seeing me here on Fimfiction. Yes, there was a growing fanbase before this show was canceled, and 9/10-year-old me was on the verge of joining it.

Yes, He-Man was on Qubo for a couple years with looping re-runs at like 9 in the night.

I realized a couple years into watching reruns of this that it had something to do with the Bible and Christianity hidden underneath a sci-fi comedy. I only remember the penguins.

Though it didn't immediately come to mind at first, this was one of my favorite shows on Qubo before it was removed.

SCIENCE!

Yes, I was aware when I watched it that this was [retty much a ripoff of Thomas the Train but with boats instead.

The theme song for this show once got stuck in my head for almost half a year back when I still watched it. I don't remember the theme song anymore outside of the tune.

...And that's pretty much all I can remember and/or scrape together from archived Qubo schedules. I stopped watching around 2015 mainly because the newer shows were more of a turnoff than anything I really wanted to watch anymore. And besides, around that time I was just about ending middle school and moving on to high school, so I didn't exactly have the time to sit and watch very much TV anymore.

Afterthoughts:

Geez, this is why I hardly understand any TV show references, isn't it? I've been watching re-runs and lower-budget shows for almost my entire life.

Qubo was the only channel I had that played cartoons on Sundays.

Most of my friends had Disney channel on cable. Up until a couple years ago my family saw no need for cable TV. (And honestly, if it weren't for the fact that internet bundled with cable was a bit cheaper with Comcast, we probably still wouldn't've had cable.)

i recognize quite a few of those shows, and im pretty sure i've watched Qubo in my grandparents basement before.

I remember Wordgirl and Cyberchase. I was assuming that most of us here would already know most of the shows on PBS, so I was instead pointing out shows I watched on a single channel over the years.

I recognise all of these shows i used to watch qubo so these are familiar

I've seen at least a few of the older ones. I also remember Scooby-Doo. That was when color television was relatively new.
