Apology, Plus looking back at the past · 4:46am May 15th, 2018
Hello Everyone, ScarFox9700 here,
I have a few things that I want to talk about, but first of all, I HAVE to get something squared away.
First of all, I think that the time has come for me to address my previous blog post, where I went on a rant about Zebra Domination. Let me just say this up front, I NEVER meant ANY disrespect to ANY of the authors that I mentioned in that post. I also did NOT mean any disrespect to anyone who likes things like Zebra Domination. I was just trying to get my 2 cents out there, and I did it wrong, and it crashed and burned because of it.
All I was trying to do was get some anger and frustrations off my chest. I was just getting so sick and tired of seeing Zebra Dom stuff, and no Anti-Zebra Dom. The ONLY reason I mentioned those stories at all was because they had examples that I was using, that's it. I did it wrong, and others took what I was saying the wrong way. I was also half asleep at about 3-4am when I wrote that, and when I looked back at it later, I saw the truth that my actions caused a LOT of discontent among viewers.
This is my time to say that I'm sorry for that blog post, and for the future, I'm going to pour my hatred of the Zebras into a story, and NOT a blog post! In the aftermath of this little debacle, I wrote a story called "Fear From the Rails", which was my first Anti-Zebra Don story, and I think the first Anti-Zebra Dom story on FimFiction. I have more stories like it planned once I get the other stories that I'm working on complete, and I'll put my anger THERE, instead of here. I get a LOT more likes for a story like that, instead of a blog post rant!
Again, I'm sorry, and I promise to NEVER do ANYTHING like that again!
Beyond this, I would like to take the time to remember my first 2 stories on Fimfiction, "Bermuda Beginnings", and "Back From Death". Both stories have been sitting for a long time, and I think that it's time I readdressed them.
"Back From Death". This story was a massive flop from the get-go. I never really thought it through, and nobody really liked the story at all. I still have plans to finish it one day, so it's not dead yet, just on a back burner.
"Bermuda Beginnings". This poor story was a great idea, with poor execution. I had it going great, only to make a few SERIOUS tactical errors in how I wrote a number of scenes in Chapters 13-16, and the story suffered because of it. I tried to recover from the fall, but the story still suffered. I left it for the time being, as "Battleship Express" became more important to me, followed by "Beyond the Express". No, this story isn't dead either, but those chapters that had an overdose of Christianity will need a MASSIVE overhaul! I have plans to do this at some point down the line, but time is not my friend right now. I also need to go back to the drawing board for this story, as it was a great idea, just poor execution.
My mind still works on these ideas, and I try to write them down as fast as I can. I'm still working on it, and I WILL come back to these stories one day, but for now, "Beyond the Express" as well as a collaboration project that I will discuss in my next blog, are more important to me right now.
