Actually caught a new episode day-of · 6:55pm Apr 7th, 2018
I actually had time to look for the new episode on the day it came out for once, so I thought I'd try jumping on the hype train and share my thoughts on it.
Sometime between season 1 and now, Flutershy seems to have forgotten literally everything about sewing. Which is alright I guess, it took Starlight less than one season to forget how to bake a cake (No Second Prances, and magics up a fresh cake in like two seconds, and then in Every Little Thing She Does she doesn't even know where to start without Pinkie's help). So yeah, it's not the first time it's happened, which I guess is just a hazard of having multiple writers on a show.
It's a shame Rarity couldn't get Coco Pommel to fill in, but then I guess she has her own business to run. She may have even been at the same fashion show Rarity was. I wonder how long until Starlight runs into her and adds her to her rapidly growing harem group of friends?
I'm starting to suspect that improve acting is a basic educational requirement in Cloudsdale. Between Rainbow's performance in Newbie Dash, and Fluttershy's in this episode and Viva Las Pegasus, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up heading up the Drama department in the School of Friendship together. Rarity would of course throw a fit if she was left out, though, so I suppose she could be in charge of costumes and method acting (she has been pretending to have her life together for a while).
It was interesting to see that the raccoons are still living at the Manehattan boutique, I suppose Fluttershy has rubbed of on Rarity a bit 
Everyone freaking out about Fluttershy calling them "rodents" is hilarious. I don't know if they were shocked because it was derogatory (if it is, I have some choice insults for Angel Bunny), or because Fluttershy saying something inaccurate about an animal is surprising.
New intro is fun, but it's a bit jarring not to see the CMC in it. At least this episode is proof that they are still around, even if they've been ursurped by a trio of adorable raccoons.
Huh. Wow, I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned, but it’s so weird that the CMC didn’t make it into the intro
Like, seriously, what’s up with that? Flurry Heart of all ponies gets to be there, but not them?
I’m just glad Maud gets to be in it, though
And yeah, it’s a bit disappointing that we didn’t get to see Coco Pommel again. Seems like it would’ve been a great opportunity, but like you said, she could easily be busy doing other things, I suppose.
This was the funniest Fluttershy-centric episode I can remember, though. Snooty posh Fluttershy didn’t do it so much for me, but the other two were absolutely brilliant

She could have at least cameoed in Manehattan... Sigh. Maybe next season XD
True! I don't know if it tops Filli Vanilli for me, but it's up there. I was kinda worried it would be super cringe, like Rainbow's attempt at the same thing, but it really wasn't.
