Easter Poem

When Easter comes it is not news
that kids dress up and wear white shoes.
Bunnies lay eggs well on Easter day
and from big rabbits kids try to get away.
Baskets of eggs, yellow, orange, green and blue
and we even get to color our own eggs too.
And what would easter be without peeps,
so sweet.
But do they know they were really
made to eat?
Oh my....oh no! Can it really be to be a treat?
Sweet to eat is a peep's destiny.
And then there's the chocolate
that is shaped like a bunny.
It tastes very good and makes
kids' faces funny.
But all of this eating
makes some people sad.
They say eating peeps and bunnies
is bad.
They think they've got
wisdom that only comes with age,
so they've gone
and set up their own webpage.
When Easter comes it is not news,
