Greetings, all. So I've just finished a session working on chapter 4 of 'Crepúsculo Sombrío'. While working on it, I put a 2 hour playlist on in the background and by the time that playlist had finished I had written... about 500 words. Now this may sound slow but that's because it is, and it's normally about the best I can do so I'm sorry updates are taking so long but chapter 3 is finished apart from one section that may need a rewrite. It is now in editing and MrMinimii (my amazing editor) can edit a lot faster than I can write so hopefully you'll hear from me again soon, with a new chapter.
On a side note, I either need someone to make/teach me how to make a PMV of this with Octavia singing and epic shots of Vinyl and her wubs.
On another side note, I'm not sure why but I have suddenly found myself with the urge to do a bass cover of 'Awoken' by H8 Seed and WoodenToaster, similar to the piano cover, only on a 5-string bass. Of course I'd need to transpose the cluttered sheet music to tab, practice it until I could play it, decide whether or not I would do the singing too and of course buy a camera/microphone to record it all. Thoughts? (the video is below for those of you that haven't heard the song, but I'm sure most of you have)
Thanks again for your time,
Joe.
PMV: It would be quite easy for you to learn without any help, hell, so long as you're using simple software you can do it yourself, without outside help.
Bass Cover: If you need help converting the sheet music to bass tabs, I can do it for you easily (if you send me the sheet music or a MIDI file since I'm too lazy to find one). Singing-wise, sure, go for it but make sure you also leave a version without the singing in, an instrumental in case you don't perform well with your voice. Also, if you do sing it, don't do that thing that some amateur singers try to do for the sections where there are breaks in the syllable (the I-ee-ee) and emulate with your own voice. It sounds shoddy, just holding the note is what you're meant to do, the computer puts in the cut-outs.
I'd be willing to help with any sound mastering and patching as well.

I would love to teach myself to PMV, although I'm not sure I have the time and I wouldn't know where to start.
The downloads for MIDI and sheet music are in the description to this video

What do you use to convert it to tabs? And the only thing really holding me back from the singing is it's far too high for me so I can only do it an octave lower

Sibelius for converting tabs, although it is a full notation program and that is not it's only purpose.
And singing an octave lower is fine.
PMV: Start with > How do I make a slide show with a movie-making program?
Then > How do I add music?
> How do I add effects?
And from there it's just picking the right clips to use and Lipsyncing them (I.e, cutting them so they look like they're singing etc.)

Ah, I used Sibelius for composition for my GCSE music but I don't have a copy on this computer. So what is it you can do with the MIDI file?
With the PMV though, there aren't any shots of Octavia or Vinyl in the show so I was thinking recolours or something like that. I don't know, I think it's all a bit too ambitious for me at the minute

Sibelius (even one as old as V. 5) Can Import midi files and convert them to either Stave music or tabs.
PMV: Find someone who makes animations I guess? And someone else who can quickly do wire-framing.
Learning to be an animator doesn't happen overnight (Unless your me and have one of the world's best animation teachers at your side, issue being I forgot it in the morning... and he's back in the U.S).
I still do a bit of 3D modeling though

Well if it's no trouble for you some tabs would be very much appreciated!
I may just have a search for animators then

Bear in mind they'd be doing pretty much all the work, comissioning them would be the best if you wanted that. Why do you want that anyway?

Just a passing fancy, perhaps it isn't worth all of that then.
I'll just focus on writing and bass
