Character Profile: Wind Walker, Master of Wind · 5:32pm Mar 29th, 2018

Onto the next Master of Nature, This one is probably least known because I really didn't flush him out as much as I should have...

So let's meet Wind Walker, Master of Wind.

Wind Walker, Master of Wind
Real Name: Unknown (Always referred to as Wind Walker)
Full Title: Wind Walker, Master of Wind and Pale Rider of Death
Ht: 5' 06"
Wt: 125.4 lbs
Species: Earth Pony
Eyes: White (Once Green)
Fur: White-Gray
Mane and Tail: Snow White with Sky Blue Swirls
Mark: A tornado with a halo over it.

Background: Not much is known of the pony called Wind Walker, the quiet, reserved, and secretive Master of Wind. Some say he is a ghost, saving those who cannot help themselves, others say he is some sort of divine being, an embodiment of Faust's Voice... but no pony has ever pulled the veil off his past... all except Burning Star. They were once childhood friends, until one day when the two were attacked by a lamia who wished to eat them. The great snake enslaved their childhood bullies to kill them, Wind Walker used his powers to stop the attackers, but he sacrificed his eyes fighting the snake, and died of his wounds against the bullies.

The Winds of Rebirth: Wind Walker ascended to Elysium, a heavenly realm where the faithful and good-hearted pony souls go. Wind Walker was greeted by Faust itself, and was tasked with helping dead souls that have died unjustly reach a peaceful afterlife. Wind Walker became the god-like Pale Rider, the benevolent grim reaper that guides souls to their proper resting places. During the last days of peace before the Windigo Invasion, Wind Walker was found at the sight of Burning Star's old village, guiding the innocent souls that died to the Changelings years ago to the heavens. Upon hearing of the frozen beasts that defy death... Wind Walker teamed up with his old friend and personally delivered their souls to them hottest pit of Tartarus he could find. He now works with Rarity as a fashion designer, after passing the duty of the Pale Rider to another, he thought it would be too complicated to have it anymore.

Powers: Wind Walker is the Master of Wind, and is arguably the strongest member of the Masters of Nature. Despite giving up the title as the Pale Rider, he kept most of its power, with it he rivals Celestia and/or Luna in terms of magical strength. He is an Earth Pony, and thus he is very physically strong and durable as well.

Wind Walker is nearly blind, and thus hides his eyes behind a blindfold. Despite his lack of vision, he can use his powers over the air to "see". The "Wind Sense" lets Wind Walker identify anything or anypony exposed to open air. His other senses, such as smell, touch, and hearing are also heavily enhanced.

Wind Walker's powers work by manipulating the molecules in the air, turning the very air around him into a nigh-unstoppable weapon. He can generate powerful gusts to buffet his opponent, compress air into razor sharp blades of wind that can cleave through solid steel, "fly" by creating a gust of wind to walk on, conjure up vortexes of wind to suck in his opponent, even turn himself completely into a gust of wind and slip in and out of trouble easily.

If he removes his blindfold. Wind Walker has access to the Pale Rider form, The powers of the Pale Rider allow him to create gateways to all realms, Equestria, Elysium, and even Tartarus, he can take anypony there as well, provided they shake hooves with him. He can sense ghosts and spirits, detect objects invisible to the eyes, and enhance his powers over the air to create devastating storms and tornadoes.

Weaknesses: Wind Walker depends on his powers to see, so removing them renders him nearly helpless. Airless environments such as the depths of space or the ocean floor can be his undoing. He also is a bit of a paranoid pony, and often takes zero to no risks, wanting to be completely sure of a situation.
