Some idea prompts - EQG version

Below are some of the prompts I recently came up with as a personal exercise, and invite anyone to use themselves, as I doubt I'll ever get to all of them. I'm sure others have come up with similar ones at some point, and I just haven't found them yet.

'Want-of-a Nail' prompts:
- Kindness is Magic - Sunset reads 'Canterlot a History' earlier in her break ins to the restricted section, so she is more prepared for an interdimensional trip, but gets caught a couple hours earlier. Because of this Fluttershy sees Sunset Shimmer when she first arrives on earth.
- Science of Sisterhood - A storm delays Shining Armor's flight a couple hours, when he is arriving home for a semester long internship around the time Sunset first arrives to earth. This one change dominoes into Sunset meeting Twilight's family.
- Recursive Parenting - Sunset, recent Phd graduate moves back to Canterlot for a job in the local university. Her first week back, she meets her equestrian doppelganger... who is over a decade younger than her... they end up living together. This idea was inspired by a similar concept in a really old R1/2 fanfic. Basically earth Sunset went through a parralel fallout with her own mentor/parental figure, and tries to help Sunset do better. In the process she deals with her own relationships, and heals her own heart.
- Principal Celestia's Redemption - There are two great regrets that Principal thinks of every day. The first was cost her years with her sister Luna. Thankfully they were able to bury the hatchet last year. The second cost a young girl her life. Which is why Celestia was shocked to see a ghost come out of the school statue in front of her, not having aged at all since that tragedy 3 years ago. (basically Celestia knew earth Sunset, who died a couple years ago, and this prompts her to take a much more active role with pony Sunset).
- The Art of Generosity - Soon after Rarity and her friends fight the first year of high school, she finds out where Sunset lives, and makes it her mission to help her. Being generous to friends is easy, however being generous to antagonists... not quite so.
- Gifting Happiness - As Sunset accepts the first princess crown she wins, Pinkie realizes that she's never truly happy, even when she wins, even when she laughs. Maybe if she makes Sunset happy, she'll stop being a meany and bringing the school down. On the way, Pinkie will realize there's a lot more to making someone happy than parties and laughter.

'Radioactive Magic Blast' prompts:
- Sunset's Second Chance of Childhood: The Rainbow blast was shown to make Luna look much younger, it turned villains to Stone, or sent them to the moon... yet Sunset Shimmer got drilled into the ground? What if the effect were a little different? (What if the rainbow turned Sunset into a kid)
- Post Traumatic Magic Disorder: It’s been a week since Sunset jumped in front of the memory stone blast meant for her 6 friends and she is starting to suspect that she didn't get off unscathed. (Sunset has flashback episodes where she acts as her past self and becomes increasingly non-functional. While not exactly how PTSD works, it would aim to explore mental disorders and learning to live with them).
- Sunset Shattered - Everyone talks about the old Sunset as if she were a totally different person. There's a reason for that. The element of Magic shredded Sunset's psyche when she was turned into a demon. When it put her back together, it was forced to copy chunks form each bearer's mind to rebuild her. What if folks actually noticed and figured this out? The Mane 5 help Sunset become a functional person and not a jerryrigged automaton.
- Saving the Sunset - In Friendship Games, it almost looked like Sunset had ascended, before she fixed SciTwi, and realeased all that magic back to her friends. What if it wasn't that easy to effectively stop mid-ascension? Princess Twilight arrives to students in mourning for the supposedly dead/disappeared Sunset. She will team up with her counterpart, whom is desperate to redeem herself be saving the only victim of her magic induced rampage.

PS - so many folks write around Anon-a-miss for dark fics in EQG, but to be honest, it would make so much more sense for thigns to escalate that way right after the Fall Formal battle.

on the mention of your anonamis thing id much rather see a story that covers the rainbooms NOT turning on her trying to help figure out who is framing her
