Hey all!
Not sure how many people read blog posts like this from relative nobodies, but I just wanted to apologize for going dark for a couple months. I will be honest and say that I lost the voice for two of my fics 'Sunset Shattered' and 'Sunset's Second Chance At Childhood'.
The truth is that I know where I want to go with both, but I got sucked back into other fandoms, and distracted with reading great stories, that I just didn't put the time into writing. Also, I wasn't in that weird place of being down enough to feel creative, without being too depressed to write. I was too busy or happy or stressed with real life to be able to write anything worth posting.
This week I'm going to shake myself off, reread all my notes and start writing again. It's hard, but I think I can get the right frame of mind back now that I've finished reading all the stories I had on my back log :P
I'll probably focus first on Susnet Shattered, because that one is mainly stuck for technical reasons, so hopefully by next week you'll see an update or two on it!
Trust me, I know the feeling. I got 1,000 words of my next chapter written on Tuesday after a six-month delay, and now I'm struggling to finish one scene so I can move on to the next. Just gotta wait for the mood to strike, then power through. I'll get it done ... eventually. I'm sure you will too.
