I've been writing I promise! ... ... just not the stories I've started? · 10:04pm May 15th, 2018
So I've been keeping my personal promise to write at least 2K words a week, but sadly it's been for the most part on stories I have not posted yet. I've decided to at least begin getting the backlog online. Hopefully it will help me refocus on my main stories as well.
I'm starting off with posting one of my darker stories, which I work on as a form of catharsis, Sunset Shattered. In the coming weeks I'll finish posting the other plot bunnies I've written up as well.
Premise -
The idea for this began because I saw another Anon-a-miss story dealing with another Sunset suicide attempt, and my mind just cannot wrap itself around it. Sunset Shimmer has changed species without going off the deep end! So it got me thinking, well when and why would she become suicidal?
That stayed in the back of my mind for a bit, but then I ended up re-watching the end of the first EQ movie, where there's a scene where Twilight calls Sunset's bluff about breaking the mirror. As Rainbow congratulates Twilight, you see sunset's face, she grabs herself, looks desperate and just on the edge.
A couple dozen highschoolers aren't going to conquer squat. But they would look threatening enough for Celestia to take care of things herself. What if Sunset wanted to commit suicide by Solar Princess?
The story itself will take up right at the end of the Equestria Girls movie. There will be some flashbacks, but this is sort of a survivor fic. I also want to explore the differences in Pony and Human morality, and just see if I can write something like this without overdoing it.
Interesting. So far, each of the stories I've read by you makes me want to know what happens next in a semi-urgent way. After you finish posting the plot bunnies, you will be going back to the stories you already have started?

Yes, I promise! I'm actually debating if I should just post all the plot bunnies in a single slush story until they grow long enough to merit being their own stories. Sunset Shattered already has over 10K written, which is why I have it as a separate story.
Also, thank you so much for saying you like the stories I've started, it really made my evening!
