This is a new Gundam series within MLP world and it take place before Season 8 with an original story. The Mobile Suits will be from the UC (Universal Century) and it'll have a huge connection to the MLP world.
The new main hero is a 22 year old man name Roland, a seemly Gundam expert geek in the series and a person struggle to find his place in the world. He was summoned by the Tree of Harmony and transported to Equestria. At the same time, 2 months after the event of MLP the Movie, Twilight and her friends along with The Royal Princesses found a strange report of giant metal golems attacking parts of Equis and now targeting Equestria. Roland was caught between them and discover an ancient machine eroded from past battles yet operable: Gundam '7th' from a seemly abandoned crafted buried underground. Soon a new war rage as the beginning of Equestria Century is on fruition.

But, doesn't the Gundam franchise have lots of Faux Action Girls in it?
4823620 Idk but in this Gundam story, theres no Faux Action Girls because Twilight and her friends will slowly be skilled in piloting Mobile Suit through out the story series.
Seems like a pretty interesting idea.
If the Mane 6 are going to get Mobile Suits, would Spike and the royal sisters(or at least Luna) get one too?
