In essence, you can make Back from the Dead a combination of Command Undead and Animate Dead. Basically, it has an A and B option.

Back From the Dead:
-Action: 1 Standard Action.
-Target: Variable.
-Range: 30-feet.
-Components: V, S
-Effect:
A) Animate a corpse with a number Hit Dice equal to your total Hit Dice -3.
B) You may control a number of Undead equal to your total Hit Dice -3.

As to Metal Will Never Die.

Metal Will Never Die:
-Action: Channeled (2 Consecutive Standard Actions)
-Target: Ally.
-Range: 30-feet.
-Components: V, S
-Effect:
After a short channel, resurrect an Ally who has died within the last 10 Minutes, restoring them to life at half their total Hit Points. When you successfully cast this spell, you also regain Hit Points equal to half of the Targets Maximum Hit Points.
