Background: Iron Steed is the stern, focused, loyal member of the Masters of Nature and Burning Star's best friend. By far the most resilient member of the group, Iron Steed spent his childhood growing up alongside the Alicorn of Fire, often fending off his bullies with his tremendous strength. When Firebrand Village was destroyed, he left for Saddle Arabia and joined the Royal Guard to the Prince of the country. His element awakened when he saved the Prince from a angry Dragon, his metal body proved to be immune to its scorching fire blasts, Iron Steed proceeded to break the Dragon's jaw and send him flying. However, the Prince cast him out for his powers, and Iron Steed went out into the desert, living a life of isolation.
Duty Calls: Iron Steed was one of the Masters of Nature, and thus was essential to the healing of Burning Star, who had fallen into a coma of sorts. Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, and Prince Eclipsio were sent to retrieve him, but were ambushed by the Shadowbolts, led by a former disgraced Wonderbolt, Lightning Dust. Iron Steed saved the trio by brutally beating Lightning Dust, using his metal body like a mace to clobber her and smack her over the horizon. He came with the trio of ponies and helped awaken Burning Star. Iron Steed was at the front lines during the battle against the Windigos, and even defeated a resurrected Tirek with the rest of the masters of Nature while under the effects of Rainbow Power. He now works with Applejack on the farm, as the main defense against thieves.
Powers: Iron Steed is an Earth Pony, and has great physical strength and stamina, however he is a special breed known as a Draft Pony. Draft Ponies are extremely physically strong and very durable, rivaling Alicorns in terms of physical toughness. He is a strong unarmed and armed combatant, having trained in the military as both a foot soldier and an officer has given him a keen sense of strategy and diplomacy, and his combat prowess rivals Shadow Armor.
Made of Iron: By harnessing the Element of Metal, Iron Steed can create a shell of a metal-like substance that renders him nearly indestructible, it also increases his already great strength to immense levels, where he is able to topple large houses with a single strike. His metal body is strong enough to survive a volcanic eruption, and slashes from weapons as powerful as King Sombra's Scythe of Umbra barely leave a mark. Despite its weight, Iron Steed's metal form is surprisingly flexible, allowing him to preform his strongest move, the Giga Steel Driver, where he rams the target with the force of a speeding train.
Weaknesses: his Metal Form is heavy, and is extremely weak to magnetic pulses. A strong enough attack can break the shell around Iron Steed, such as Burning Star's Star Strike.
