I just watched the new Equestria Girls special, [Forgotten Friendships], and WOW. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but they've essentially been copying ideas from Jojo parts in conjunction to the importance of the event in order.

Part 1: Sunset rejects her Humanity, turning into a literal monster.

Part 2: An ancient evil trio of powerful beings awaken and seek to become perfect (all with amazing hair).

Part 3: SciTwi's appearance triggers the return of the main characters' powers and, in an effort to stop these events from destroying the world, Sunset takes up the mantle to fight this threat with the same type of power after witnessing her friends be taken down by this evil.

Part 4: Gloriosa Daisy just wants a quiet life when a bunch of high school students start to develop strange powers similar to her own, and uses a magical artifact of unknown origins to power herself up to ensure that the peaceful life she loves will never be disturbed again (#GloriosaDidNothingWrong).

Part 5: As teenagers begin to develop powers all over the city, our heroes (gang) stay on the lookout for any who would use their magic to bring harm to others, thus getting caught in the mirror world by someone else's power and forced to rely on the newest addition to their gang to solve the problem while they try to survive.

Part 6: ... I don't really have a lot to go off of from here, but still, our main heroine tries to find out where the stolen memories of her friends have gone, resulting in said memory thief to end up using her power to inadvertently cause her own downfall.
