To my Valentine

To my dearest Valentine,

I know that it is disappointing that you are on the other side of the globe. I know that even though all we have are words though Discord, that it may not be enough to having the gifted privilege of standing right next to you.

However, I do cherish of what we have right now. While words is all we have, I couldn't ask for more. These candied words, with these you built cites out of paragraphs. You built palaces out of simple complements. I have gotten to know you, and have given me a window into your side of the world. Of a culture that, I confessed, I had little knowledge of.

I hold on to these notes because to me, they are proof that I can not only be loved, but that I too can fall in love with.

While I know you started on this site, I see a future where your stories can rival my own. Your writing is growing and maturing at a speed that amazes me. Don't love hope that no one is reading them. They are. Be patient with your readers, I can tell you from personal experience that they will come around.

Even if you had no talent, even when the numbers of readers and writers dwindle on this site, even when the fandom for the show dies, you will remain. Your humor and insight, brilliant as sunlight. Your dedication to fiction and cooking, unending. Your kindness, refreshing. Your maturity and open mindedness, an inspiration. Your patience, on par with the Devine. Your love, hope to the hopeless. And you... Happiness itself.

I still cannot thank you enough for letting this heart that once thought was cursed with loneliness to be able to reach across seas to reach yours. And I will treasure the time we have, regardless of how long or short.
