I was looking at the stats for Gleaner Chronicles: American Monsters (GCAM) and saw something strange.
There were only three views. Last week there were twenty.
Why?
Are they scared away from the chapter title?
"Get Rarity and Spike," doesn't sound bad to me.
The chapter is about their rescue.
I'm kinda annoyed that folks aren't reading the story but are instead picking and choosing which chapters to read
based on what catches their fancy. Yeah, readers do what they wish. The story isn't going to make sense with readers cherry picking chapters.
Before you say, "Three doesn't sound so low."
It is when the lowest number of views was sixteen several months ago.
Yes, three is pretty low.
Well, as the late great B. B. King sings, "The thrill is gone."
Since readers have shown me a vote of no confidence, I will not bother to write any more fanfictions and post them here.
Not sure what I'll do with GCAM.
I probably will post another chapter but if the views tank again.
If the views tank again, I won't bother posting more chapters.
Why should I?
As far as getting help to clean up Children of Oonte, well, that ship has sailed and crashed into an iceberg.
If folks want to know how it ends, I could post the link to the version on DA. Or not.
To be honest, even if the views don't tank, I have lost interest in the show anyway.
Also lost interest in writing fanfictions too. Thought I had some basic skill but I don't.
Might as well move out of writing fanfiction and focus on original work again.
Ok
