I Want To Speak Briefly About Jojo's Bizarre Adventure · 8:34am Jan 6th, 2018
Yeah, I know this is random, but I've been watching a lot of Jojo lately, so it's on my mind.
My favorite aspect of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is the existence of Hamon. Hamon, for those who don't know, is basically a martial arts technique that causes the body to produce an energy field that mimics sunlight, and as such is lethal to vampires.
I want you to take a moment and think about the origins of that martial art. One day, some dude was sitting back, chilling, and suddenly thought to himself, "You know what would be awesome? Being able to kill a vampire by punching it in the face." Thus began Hamon. And the world was better for its creation.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's first series, Phantom Blood, is about killing vampires with magical sunlight punches.
If I haven't made you want to watch the anime and/or read the manga with that one sentence, then there's nothing I can say that will convince you to do so.
You can't convince me.... I've already watched it ALL.
I was dissapointed when Hamon's various utilities from the first series and second series got retconned away in the third series. It made perfect creative sense to make room for stand powers, but still my feelings remain regardless of my love of jjba as a whole.
Good thing they at the very least made joseph's stand be the manifestation of hamon.
Even though everyone say its a weak stand it would be the strongest thing to have in part 1 or 2.
PS: Its one of my favorit stands just for the idea and desing.
Just imagin the potential if joseph has younger.
Wait... what part are you at ? did i just gave you a spoiler ?
To quote a famous anituber, "IS THAT A MUTHERFUCKING JOJOS REFERENCE?!"
