Well, the New Year is almost upon us, and we can only hope next year will be very productive.
For now though, I'm just going to post my favorite remixes of the Space Jam theme song. Not for any special reason, but just because boredom sets in easy around here.
There's a bitter irony that a Warner Bros. product matches well with a Disney song. Regardless, this Barkley Slam goes good with this Mulan Jam.
It's fitting that a song involving basketball gets matched with Kansas, a band named after the state that originated basketball. This one's great for any old-school rock fans, who need to be dunked on as the hard riffs come.
Out of all that Space Jam remixes I've seen, this is definitely one of the more creative ones. Instead of simply laying a Backstreet Boys song over Quad City DJ's masterpiece, the creator actually mixed the songs together into a "call and response" format. The result is a track so hot the Chaos Dunk couldn't even stop these sick beats.
Well, that's it for me this year. I hope you all have a Happy New Year, and that the fandom will persevere despite all the depressing things going on right now (the show leaks, the end of the show, that BronyCon incident Horizon wrote about). I'm not an optimist, but I think that we can come together and better ourselves as people in the coming months.
