So the title to this blog is a reference to the fact that I had originally planned on making a Fallout 4 Reference with my 111th blog post... however it would seem that it happened without me realizing it. So yeah. 
Not only that but I am thinking I will try to do the one thing I was planning on doing with my 31 Nights of Nightmares project. Partially for the following reasons:
- I really like the idea, plus it will hopefully motivate people to comment more on my stories.
- It will allow me to experiment with some different writing styles, aside from it being interactive, it will also be in Second Person View (usually I do it third person) and I will be writing it in present tense (usually I write in past tense).
- Also I enjoyed writing the first chapter for this rendition of the idea then I did with the original.
Now don't worry, even if I finish the first chapter, I have no intentions of posting it until next October, which will give me time to write out some outlines for the story and the other chapters (based off the decisions the readers make). I've also written down some character descriptions for the story to help me further cement my idea and improve my outline. Of course if you have any feedback please feel free to comment on this blog.
31 Nights of Nightmares Characters
You
You are a unicorn stallion who lives in a rundown apartment in the middle of Manehatten. The landlord’s daughter has a crush on you, but considering how young she is there is NO way that is going anywhere. Aside from that there isn’t much else to say.
You’re aware of the actions the Mane 6 have done throughout the series due to newspapers and news articles. Also you had your magic drained by Tirek at one point, but seriously who didn’t. That guy was a total jerk.
Applejack (Scarecrow)
After the events that resulted in a serial murderer killing most of Ponyville, forcing the inhabitants to leave, Applejack awakens to find that somehow she has been brought back in the body of a scarecrow. Having perished prior to the evacuation it was a shock for Applejack to discover that Ponyville was completely vacant of life.
As she wondered the ruins Applejack learned that she had some rather unique abilities. She could create Wisp Lanterns, small floating flames that were of a matching color to the necrotic energy inside of Applejack’s new body. After using her abilities the scarecrow discovered that her powers were linked to the straw inside her body, which would slowly decay when she used her powers. Soon it became apparent to Applejack that unless she continued to maintain the amount of straw she would soon fade away.
While she was scavenging her old barn, Applejack discovered a trapdoor hidden in the back of the barn. Exploring the underground compartment revealed a room with a strange door. Upon opening the door Applejack stumbled upon Dream Haven.
Fluttershy (Changeling)
In another alternate universe, Fluttershy was not the Element bearer of Kindness; instead she was a changeling that served under Queen Chrysalis. During the events at the Canterlot Wedding she was captured by the royal guard.
After awakening in her cell, Fluttershy discovered a strange door at the back of the cell. Adventuring through the door Fluttershy found herself in Dream Haven. Being able to absorb small amounts of love passively, the changeling was able to leave peacefully here.
It took a while but now the other guests are fine with Fluttershy’s presence in Dream Haven.
Glow Lure
There is a strange breed of pony that lives deep below the waves, a species of transparent ponies with organs that glow in the dark. However due to a few environmental changes the species has declined in population. Glow Lure is one of the last of her kind resulting in her being secured in the aquarium in Dream Haven.
While Glow Lure has the ability to breathe on land as well as in the water, she must keep her skin moist and it takes to for her to adjust to the differences in pressure.
Usually she is quiet around those she isn’t familiar with, preferring to listen and waits to be addressed before speaking. However once she trusts someone she is more talkative and speaks her mind more readily.
She also likes the color yellow.
Object – 63452
Little is known about this object. It fell from the sky and despite the Equestrian military’s complaints it was taken to Dream Haven under Celestia’s authority.
Pinkie Pie (Zombie)
In her previous dimension there was a zombie outbreak that had resulted in the infected suffering from slight mutations and developing a craving for flesh.
Eventually a “cure” was discovered and after being administered the new cure, Pinkie attempted to resume her previous life. As long as she takes her antiviral booster the mare no longer mutates and can function like normal.
Pinkie has a mutated tongue, which shares functions similar to that of a frog. She also possesses a few other mutations which she has covered with bandages, in the hopes that she can blend in with society. After suffering from her infection, Pinkie’s mane went through a drastic change. Her mane is now straight and only becomes frizzy if she forgets to take her meds. However the state of her mane doesn’t affect her happiness.
Rainbow Dash (Werewolf)
After a horrible accident with one of Twilight’s spells, Rainbow Dash was infused a wolf (much like with Flutterbat). During the events of the full moon, the wolf comes out to hunt. After going on a rampage and accidentally hurting some ponies, including Scootaloo. Due to the incident, Rainbow Dash swore she would do what she could to prevent herself from hurting others.
It was around this time that she discovered a portal that lead to Dream Haven. With the introduction of Rainbow Dash to the Dream, the mare was designated two rooms, one room to serve as personal quarters and a second custom made room for to contain her when the full moon is active.
Rarity (Ghost)
The seamstress has no knowledge as to how she died. Nor does she know how she found her way to Dream Haven.
She wonders the many corridors of Dream Haven trying to understand what has happened to her. Unlike most of the other guests to Dream Haven, Rarity isn’t confined to the Sanctuary Section and has full access to the Dream Haven facility (this is what happens when you can go through walls).
Twilight (Witch/Sorceress)
In order to save Equestria from Sombra, Twilight had to make two sacrifices, first she had to rely on her assistant Spike to save the Crystal Empire. Then she had to sacrifice a part of herself to create a contract with an eldritch being to defeat the dark lord.
Thus Twilight forged a contract with a being known as Orbsah, the Everwatching. This granted the unicorn access to eldritch knowledge and numerous dark spells.
Because of her contract not only was Twilight unable to ascend to being an alicorn and went into exile into the Everfree Forest, but not before animating her tree library and taking it with her. A month into her exile Twilight discovered a hidden door in the back of her mobile library that lead to Dream Haven.
Now I will say I'm not terribly fond of the idea of Fluttershy being a changeling, however since it was in the image that kind of inspired this idea I figured I would include it. Unless someone wants to create some cover art for with a different version of Fluttershy (maybe a Frankenstein Monster or Vampony) then maybe I'll change it.
I meant that as a joke, but whatever. 
Or I could create my own bloody image, I'm just feeling lazy about it right now. I don't know. Tell me what you think. Maybe you like Fluttershy being a changeling and have some ideas to better improve the concept, in which case just post a comment below talking about it.

Really cool and solid character backstories! IDK if the Dream Haven have been introduced in another story or not but I already want to pay it a visit
As for the changeling Fluttershy, her character seems to be as interesting as all the others to me, you just gotta make sure to add your own flavor to her
