Update: 'Tis The Season!

Hey peeps. Happy holidays! It's been long, I know. I haven't posted anything in a while so here's a blog.

So, what's up with me? I'm going to be honest here; I haven't been writing any MLP fanfiction. Yes, that does sound terrible even to myself. I do have a lot of ideas but I guess my latest published work here kind of hit hard. I worked hard on that Photo Finish story and I only got lukewarm reception. I guess it's greedy of me to expect views and favorites to roll in huge but I really felt that that one was one of the best stories I've written so far. So when I got an okay reception, I got stumped. Discouraged, even.

It's not like I stopped writing completely. I have some few ideas jotted down and some new stories written but just not finished. I lost my drive to do them. I feel sad for myself; I love writing for MLP, especially EG, but to just stare at the screen, worrying it won't be noticed and that really scared me. I know I should be grateful with even just a single like. I guess I got used to getting more than just that. I still love that story and I cherish it a lot. I love giving side characters their spotlight in a story and Photo Finish EG got hers in my words.

What exactly have I written? I am now writing a Doki Doki Literature Club fanfiction and while that is getting quite a reception, it pales to the emotions I've woven to my previous MLP fics. Perhaps it's doing well because Doki Doki is popular as of now. But if you guys want to read it, here it is.

I don't know if I'll be publishing MLP fics for a while, but I know I'll be writing. I just hope MLP and EG will be in it in the future.
