New Years resolution · 5:33am Dec 9th, 2017
Its early but I decided to make a few new years resolutions and state whats going on. As of right now im still writing lol. But im also starting classes next year so Ill probably be posting kess then I normally do. But the fun train will keep rolling so yeah! Anyways for my goals next year I want to write at least 10 new stories. I know that I might write more but 2018 is going to be fun. I have so many ideas to write and im sure buisness school shouldnt be to bad. Anyways happy holidays and happy new year. Ill update some more before I go on christmas vacation and afterwards. But just wanted to write this before I forget. Thanks to all my followers and those who've read my stories for a whole year. In a few months itll be my second year on this site. And i hope i can keep writing like I said before I aint stopping until I turn 60.
Oh, dear friend. You won't stop writing when you're 60. You have far too much talent to ever stop writing until the day you leave this mortal coil to frolick in whatever afterlife awaits us. Even there I'm pretty sure you'll still be amusing others with your writing both on Earth or wherever we go after our bodies go offline.
Oh, wow! You're going to Business School? What inspired you to head that direction? I have a Bachelors and Masters in Business. If you can find a specialty area to focus in you'll do great. Might I suggest "Human Resources" or "Strategic Leadership"? If you are a number cruncher I can tell you there are LOTS of job opportunities in "Accounting and Finance".
I went in on "Marketing & Management" and learned hard that being blind doesn't favor Marketing. Plus getting to Management requires rising in the ranks. So I didn't exactly make the best choice. However I had either that or Accounting and finance and, well, my mathamatics aren't all that 'Fancy', as Applejack would say. :)
Be proud of yourself for your talents in writing. Business School is A LOT of papers. Your talent as a writer will make these projects a TON easier. Plus, if you like to be in front of a classroom presenting, you may be able to negotiate out of some group work to be the speaker. (I got out of a lot of Finance work in group presentations and write-ups thanks to trading being the group speaker for someone staying nicely hidden behind their numbers)
Know you have my best of wishes going forward. Don't let anyone, or anything, make you think otherwise as, honestly, going to Business School, College, etc. is a massive transition from the structure of High School. You can do it with the use of time management and, if you're like me, using writing as a reward for getting all your work done. :)
Good luck!
