Well, I may or may not have begun work on a story. I can't make any promises, because it's still in the embryonic stages, but I have high hopes for it.
With that in mind, I was hoping I could ask for your help, if you'll indulge me. It's nothing big, just a question to help me with the background of the story.
So here it is. As far as I know, there's nothing in the MLP canon that specifically details how Nightmare Moon spent her thousand-year banishment (aside from the obvious "on the moon"). My question is, is that correct? The reason I ask is that I've never read the comics (which I'm not sure are canon to the show anyway), and due to my Internet access being sporadic at best, I'm about five episodes behind on the show. So I just want to make sure my assumption was correct, and the millennium of Nightmare's banishment is still open to fan interpretation.
And all that aside, it's exciting to be writing again. I hate not being able to write, and this story is the first idea I've had that I've been excited about in quite a while.
