The film we've all been waiting for. We've read the comics, watched the animated series and movies, yet there hasn't been a live action one until now. After a long wait, what does this person have to say?
It isn't even that half bad!
Carrying on the success of Wonder Woman, this movie raises the hopes for the future of the DCEU. The characters are likable, even The Flash is adorkable. Batman is still a dick, but that's only because he's still warming up to companions, especially after Jason Todd's death. Before seeing the movie, I thought Sam Elliot would be Gordon, but with a mustache, JK Simmons does look like him.
The big gripe to me is that Superman is back in this; true that this is three films after Dawn of Justice, and given Zack Snyder wanting to connect him to Jesus, revived. I would rather have him come back in Part 2 when they fight Darkseid. Likewise, they almost repeat the same accident involving reviving a Kryptonian under the ships embryonic ooze when I rather would have them go to a Lazarus Pit. The effect would be the same, but it's more relatable to us fans since going billy beserk is a side effect of the Lazarus Pit.
It's still a good film overall, and I really recommend watching it tomorrow. For the next one, here's to Luthor making the Injustice League.
