Feeling Better, Plus A Geoverse Announcement! · 10:30pm Nov 15th, 2017

Anyone who saw my last blog might have noticed that I have now deleted it; if you didn't see it... well, you didn't miss much. I was pretty much bitching about not being able to go to BronyScot this year because of financial concerns, and I was swearing a hell of a lot more than I usually do in blog posts.

I've thought about it, and I'm now a bit calmer regarding the whole situation. Sure, I'm still upset about not being able to go, but there's always next year (provided I can actually save money, rather than spend the stuff like it's going out of fashion).

During my period of thought, I had one regarding the Geoverse... and what Part Seven will be about.

My original idea for Part Seven was to simply retell the Season Four finale with humans chucked in, but where's the originality in that?! Instead, I have had what I think is a much better idea: Part Seven will still be set during the Season Four finale, but it will focus on what Geo went through while Twilight was being a general badass and nuking the hell out of Tirek (as well as half of Equestria).

So, with that in mind, here is the description.

Geoverse Part Seven: Evil Rising

[Drama] [Human]

Princess Twilight and her husband, Prince Geo, are facing their biggest challenge yet. Lord Tirek has returned to take magic from everypony in Equestria, and Twilight is next on his list.
As a result, both of them will undertake a truly extraordinary journey.
For one of them, however, that journey will be more harrowing than anything they could have ever anticipated...

Given what I have in mind, I don't think that 'harrowing' is the right word to use; I'll see what happens when the story is published, and hope that someone will suggest an alternative.

"You haven't posted a new Geoverse story for over three years*, Geo, so what makes you so sure that this one will be published any time soon?"

Because I will begin work on it tomorrow when I get back from work; I have all weekend to get it published, and I intend to make use of that time to actually do something for a change.

"Wait... you're suggesting that the story will be up in a matter of days?!"

You know something? I think I am.

Yes. Why not?

This weekend, with Twilight, Luna, Celestia, Cadence and DIscord as my witnesses, Geoverse Part Seven will be published. Should I fail to live up to this promise, then I implore you to bombard me with comments and PMs until I deliver.
